Support the Society this Giving Season
This year, we’re using Giving Tuesday – the 24-hour giving day celebrated on December 3rd – to launch the Society for Health Communication Giving Season campaign, which will continue through December 31st. Your tax-deductible gift will help us realize our vision: a united group of health communication professionals whose collaboration advances the health of the American public.
The Society for Health Communication is a community of 5000+ professionals working together to build a collective, unified voice for health communication. Health communication touches lives every day. With your help, we can strengthen collaboration and increase understanding of health communication science and its impact.
As a nonprofit organization, we depend on donations. Because individual membership in the Society is free, it makes your contributions today all the more important. We ask that each SHC member offer a generous tax-free donation of $100 to help us fund daily SHC operations, which includes our part-time staff, educational programming (e.g., webinars), and annual Summit participation. Now, more than ever, the work we do as health communicators is essential to the health and prosperity of our communities. Thank you for your investment in the Society for Health Communication. Together, we can make a difference. It means the world to us to have the support of our members, and we’re grateful for a gift of any size.
